Listening to an interview with one of the authors of this book. He says that 1/3 of the Miami economy in the 60s was CIA expenditures. Says it is a "Cold War" city equivalent to Berlin. Sounds fascinating - may read the book.

He just stated that there was a 2 year timeframe when the CIA was the largest employer in the state of Florida.

So I guess they pushed the Trafficanti organization to #2 or maybe the mob were just employees?

He just said that the Cold War ended worldwide except for one place - Miami. I would add Putin's head.

No doubt, its full of Bolsinaro fans and anti-communist Venezuelans on top of the anti-Castro Cubans
