Ehh Mullen was good until he wasn't, Norvell was good until he wasn't, etc. I agree that the right guy will show early improvement, but it'll be a while before we know if he's really the guy.

 

Agreed. Was exaggerating for fun. I drink a fair amount, but haven't gotten drunk in decades ,(an almost weekly *discussion* I have with my wife: " you're an alcoholic!" "Honey....when was the last time you saw me drunk?" (So long ago she can't even recall...).

Perhaps I should have put a funny emoji in there... or a legal disclaimer...or a funky font... or maybe I'll just delete it...

 

Mullen quit. FSU was farrrrr from sure he was the guy year 2, he was 5-7. Regardless, the point is it doesn't take 3-4 years to figure it out.

 

Lucky man, I would have been told the exact date, time, and the moon was in retrograde.

 

All you get when you say that before year 3 is "Do you know anything about football?"
