Watched It's a Wonderful Life today. Mary Hatch makes her wish and throw a rock and breaks glass and gets her wish. Next George Bailey's dad dies and George Bailey is trapped in Bedford Falls. A number of other bad things happen to George Bailey so this wish is fulfilled beyond that so she got her wish.
Merry Christmas. We were going to spend the afternoon and evening the new Matrix movie and I wanted to watch The Rock/Ryan Reynolds/Gal Gadot art heist film--well, not so much Rock and Reynolds . TV wouldn't go on--no power from the remote or with the buttons on the side. It's some years old. Looks like a trip to Best Buy in the morning.
@GatorLurker - new neighbors a few doors down love that movie so much their dogs have always had names tied to it. Current dog is "Bedford". Another neighbor a few doors down in the other direction has his two dogs named "Scout" and "Atticus". Thanks for the Christmas greetings thread, @akaGatorhoops ! I cooked dinner here and took it over to my 98 year old Mom's house. Very quiet and simple, the way we like it. Working on the latest deck project here at my place....perfect weather to be outside!
