Due to the distinct possibility of rain, the scheduled match with UCF will be moved from Saturday January 22nd, to Sunday January 23rd. The match will be contested at the Alfred Ring Tennis Center in Gainesville.

Played well today...7-0 sweep with only a couple of bad sets from Andrade and Shelton. Bonetto gets his first singles win at #6

On a side note, Tennessee went to TCU and got the 4-3 win. They are the current #1 team. Blaise Bicknell is on their roster but hasn't played yet. Would assume he would strengthen them even further. Will be a war when we square off vs them.

Bonetto is very solid and will become a very important member of our team in the years to come. Bicknell appears to not be eligible at this point in the young season. Whether he becomes eligible is another story.

Coach, is Shelbayh's singles game significantly behind his doubles? I know he is an elite doubls guy, but kind of expected him to make some noise in singles as well.

Aboud is very young. He is learning how to be tougher in singles. Yes his doubles game is ahead of his singles play. Butting heads with our veterans every day at practice is making him stronger mentally especially during moments in singles where it is easy to get down on ones self. His talent is unquestioned. He will learn through this school of hard knocks. I think he has a bright furure but he will have to pay his dues first.
