Lol, just hopped off a plane and was thinking about this.
So so day one, but they were scorching today. Lin and Castillo gave 3 strokes back at the end and they finished with a 9 under day. 4 shots behind 3rd ranked Vandy, who still has 2 golfers on the course
Barring a meltdown they should be safe to advance. Just all about seeding, want to avoid Vandy as long as possible so staying in 2/3 slot takes care of that assuming Vandy holds the top slot (which is likely)

 

Hitting the turn in round 3, top 4 teams have kind of seperated.

UF -13
LSU -11
Tamu -9
UGA -1
MSU -1
Missou E
AU +1

Too early to look at possible match play opponents, but will do it anyway
As it stands now we get 45th ranked Missou. UGA is 12th ranked and AU 14th, MSU unranked. So IF we stay in second pull for Missou or MSU to finish 7th.

 

TAMU with the hot round today nips UF for 2nd by a stroke.
Gators get UGA in the QF

 

UF moving on to the championship round to face Vandy tomorrow for the SEC Golf title!

Some good golf being played out there this morning. Gators have rallied to lead the match overall but it’s still pretty much up for grabs.

 

It may come down to the last match with Lin and Sherwood

 

2-2 with last match left. we are 3 down with 3 to play. Just about impossible but ya never know in amateur golf. It was fun . Vandy will probably defend
