The Florida men's basketball team announced its 2022-23 non-conference schedule on Tuesday, embarking on a challenging slate of games that includes six home dates in Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.

The Gators tip the Todd Golden Era on Monday, Nov. 7, hosting Stony Brook, and their home schedule is highlighted by the Dec. 7 showdown vs. UConn.

Florida hosts Kennesaw State (Nov. 11) and Florida Atlantic (Nov. 14) before visiting Florida State on Nov. 18. As previously announced, the Gators will take part in the Phil Knight Legacy event in Portland with three games Nov. 24-27. The event will include three games against a field of Duke, Gonzaga, Oregon State, Portland State, Purdue, West Virginia and Xavier.

Upon returning from the West Coast, the Gators will host in-state foes Florida A&M (Nov. 30) and Stetson (Dec. 4) before welcoming UConn.

The Gators then have a pair of neutral-site contests, with a game set for Tampa on Dec. 14 against Ohio. Florida then visits Charlotte for the previously-announced Jumpman Invitational on Dec. 20, an event that also features Michigan, North Carolina and Oklahoma.

I think I may try to attend the Jumpman Invitational. Do we know which team we'll be playing yet?

The women's draw will be hot too since all 4 programs made the tournament last year and should make big noise.

I just moved from South Florida to Charlotte, so I look forward to being there on December 20, when the Gators will be playing Oklahoma.

Michigan will be playing North Carolina on December 21, so tickets to our game should be more readily available.

I have heard that there may be 4 women's teams involved as well, so not sure if they are planning doubleheaders on Dec 20-21 including one men's and one women's game each day.

I move back to South Florida after almost 15 years and they cancel the annual game in Sunrise? You’ve got to be kidding me. Well, at least I went to the one last year. :emoji_rage:

That FAMU game is going to be a NET killer, but the rest is pretty good.
