The Western Am is one of the biggest amateur golf tournaments. 3 Gators in final 4 this morning. Jack Turner and Ian Gilligan advance to finals, just teed off. JC Deacon must be proud. Our golf team next year should contend.

Gilligan won on the 29th hole. I'm wore out just typing that.

What has been going on with the golf team. Are we competitive? Top 20? Top10?

The Western Open used to be a big golf event on the PGA tour. It was hosted by the Western Golf Association and played on courses around Chicago. Pros did not get their own caddies but had local caddies. I think that the whole caddy thing was named after Chick Evans.

I did not know that the amateur event was still a thing. It has to be one of the oldest tournaments on record.
