Walz has lied about his rank in the national guard for political purposes for years:

Tim Walz's Replacement in the National Guard Wrote to Him Years Ago About His Rank (townhall.com)

In 2016, Behrends penned a private letter to Walz, thanking him for his service but imploring him to stop using the title, which he said Walz didn't earn.

"It saddens me that after your long career in the National Guard, that you did not fulfill the conditions of your promotion to Command Sergeant Major," said the letter, a copy of which was provided to ABC News. "It's quite a title to have, when it has been earned. I would hope that you haven't been using the rank for political gain, but that is how it appears."

A former battalion commander of Walz's National Guard unit also issued a scathing rebuke of the way the Minnesota governor has described his military rank since retiring and entering politics, writing on Facebook that Walz "did not earn the rank or successfully complete any assignment as an E9," referring to the governor's repeated use of the title.

"It is an affront to the Noncommissioned Officer Corps that he continues to glom onto the title. I can sit in the cockpit of an airplane, it does not make me a pilot. Similarly, when the demands of service and leadership at the highest level got real, he chose another path," wrote John Kolb, who became lieutenant colonel of his Minnesota unit shortly after Walz retired and launched his bid for Congress. When reached for comment, Kolb told ABC News that his statement "speaks for itself."

Counting down to the paper tiger who is a coward and a liar to be dropped from the ticket before it's too late.

Walz lied about a DUI arrest in Nebraska in 1995 for political gain in 2006:

New Details: Walz Also Blatantly Lied About His DUI (townhall.com)

"According to court and police records connected to the incident, Walz admitted in court that he had been drinking when he was pulled over for driving 96 mph in a 55 mph zone in Nebraska. Walz was then transported by a state trooper to a local hospital for a blood test, showing he had a blood alcohol level of .128, well above the state’s legal limit of 0.1 at the time. But in 2006, his campaign repeatedly told the press that he had not been drinking that night, claiming that his failed field sobriety test was due to a misunderstanding related to hearing loss from his time in the National Guard. The campaign also claimed that Walz was allowed to drive himself to jail that night...None of that was true. A CNN KFile review of statements made by the Walz campaign at the time reveals numerous discrepancies between how the campaign described the events and the facts of what actually took place that night."

“The DUI charge was dropped for a Reason: it wasn’t true,” Walz’s then-campaign communications director told local news in 2006. “The trooper had him drive to the station and then leave on his own after being at the station. Tim feels bad about speeding and has paid the ticket and apologized to his family at the time it happened.” In fact, the incident’s police report clearly states that Walz was transported by police to a local hospital for blood alcohol testing after being arrested. And this week, Nebraska state police confirmed to CNN that Walz was taken by a state trooper to jail...On Tuesday, the Daily Beast published an interview with the state trooper who arrested Walz. He disputed claims that Walz had not been drinking and noted that sobriety test had nothing to do with hearing. The Harris-Walz campaign declined to comment for this story."

Using 'deafness' from his National Guard service as a baseless excuse while lying about the facts of this incident is quite a touch, and very on-brand, it seems. Driving 96mph while drunk is exceptionally reckless. Lying about all of it, for political gain, appears to be reflective of this man's character. I'll leave you with this: Does Tim Walz ever tell the truth about anything?

Andy Kaczynski on X: "NEW: During his 2006 congressional run, Tim Walz’s campaign falsely claimed he wasn’t drinking during his 1995 arrest and the DUI charge was dismissed. They even said he drove to the station. Court records show the truth. He was drunk, driving 96 mph. https://t.co/V36D4vzxhc" / X (twitter.com)

"Seems like" because you so badly wish for it to be true. It's ok, though, as this is a symptom of being stuck with eyeliner cross-dressing guy and sweet potato hitler. T&P

Walz lied about his DUI arrest and blamed the cop for the arrest. You can't make it up... well, I guess you can if your name is Tim Walz.

The Walz shit keeps piling up, right now a mountain of shit in this thread.

Now, we have a writer who served in Walz's national guard that he bailed on bringing another truth about Walz putting his political career over what is right:

When Veterans Needed Help, Tim Walz Abandoned Them (townhall.com)

Voting against improvements for veterans because it gave Trump a win instead of putting veteran's care above politics is a damn shitty thing to do. It is what Walz the cowardly liar does best:

Time and again, Walz put politics ahead of service. Our veterans have paid the price for his dereliction of duty. During the Trump Administration, Walz was the top Democrat on the House committee responsible for veterans’ health care.

The VA health system was struggling to right the ship after years of scandal. Veterans who desperately needed care had suffered long wait times, poor-quality care, and neglect. Some even committed suicide because they couldn’t get the help their nation had promised.

When President Trump came into office, he created a 10-point plan for VA reform. Trump’s approach was common sense: VA bureaucrats needed to be held accountable when they failed, and veterans deserved more and better choices about where to receive health care.

The bill passed the House with overwhelming bipartisan support, 347-70. It later sailed through the Senate, 95-5 and was signed by President Trump. But Tim Walz and other liberal Democrats didn’t want to give the president a win—even if it meant giving veterans the finger. Walz was in the partisan, left-wing minority that voted ‘no,’ along with Nancy Pelosi. Opposing the VA MISSION Act was cynical politics at its worst. When Walz had a chance to help veterans, he decided to score political points instead.

When Veterans Needed Help, Tim Walz Abandoned Them (townhall.com)

Walz was the Ranking Member on the House Vet Affairs Committee. Do you know WHY he and others had objections to the VA Mission Act?
They were concerned about long-term funding for the initiatives not being included, as well as efforts to privatize the V.A. and many of its services.

Subsequent efforts by House and Senate Repubs have borne out these concerns. Their "Default on America" Act rescinds 2 billion dollars worth in V.A.services and facilities, and Project 2025 goes even further.

And please note that 11 Repub Senators and 174 Repub House members voted against the PACT Act (toxic burn pit) legislation.

Meanwhile, your guy lied about bone spurs to avoid military service altogether. That is, of course, unless you are treating the fact Trump didn't catch a venereal disease as his Vietnam as Trump has. Your petty nitpicking of a man who actually served our country for 24 years while unabashedly supporting a rapist, convicted felon, and serial liar makes you look small, insignificant and unworthy of serious attention. But you know that.

The more ETGator rants, the better I feel about the direction of this country.
I am sure there is a correlation between the length of his rants/amount of bold text used and trumps sinking ship of a campaign.

Translation.....you are presented with actual facts, and rather than acknowledge that once again you are lost in the wilderness, you deflect.

ET's definition of "lamestream media" - Media outlets that report facts rather than right-wing pro-Trump talking points. Only one media outlet has agreed to settle a defamation lawsuit for almost $800 million and it's not a "lamestream" media outlet.
