That's exactly what a proud mother looks like when her son manages all of this attention for his hard-earned accomplishments, then decides on the school that is closest to home.
Easley. And he was a stump. Much shorter and pushing 300 lbs. But Dunlap was Neanderthal-ish. Tall, thick body, with long ass limbs. Stab & move. A lot like LJ.
I'll bet he does. Brown was very hot and cold though. Amazing when he was on his game, seemed to disappear at times. Greenard disappeared only from injuries.
He disappeared because he was a speed rush guy with not a lot of strength and not a lot of moves when he was at UF. So he could abuse slower tackles, but the ones with quicker feet, he couldn’t do anything against.
He solved that in the pros. Brown was a consistent contributor for the Bears for a long time and on some really good defenses.
I got some heat (lots of bacon) much earlier this year when he was lower ranked, comparing this guy to some other DL we were in the running for (especially a couple higher ranked that were very pro-Gator). I knew that we had to let some others commit elsewhere to commit ourselves to this guy and get a flip later if he didn't commit to us, because he is just exactly what we need. I won't say he is an unquestioned 5 star, but he is super good for the modern college game that needs size, strength and speed at end. We are really lucky to get him.
Will never forget his reaction instead of celebrating after Grimes caught a TD in front of him vs Tennessee in 2020. Felt like he wasn’t bought in at UF. (6:35 mark)
FACT! Norvell reminds me soooo much of Mullen in a way & it's really comical. If Travis & just a couple other players left they're at 3 or 4 wins max this year, he is a mid recruiter & the rumors are fsu is paying kids to visit & to commit. Lester was ignored by UF until recently but I personally believe Raymond is just trolling Norvell. When he starts whiffing on the portal like he whiffs on HS kids they're back to a borderline .500 team.
Money & must be scared of the SEC. If recruit on D is down to ug & fsu (PUKE) & they pick fsu they seriously need their head examined.
Just watched the play. I think the pass was to Copeland, but Grimes route crossed in front and he snagged it! Wasn't there another one like that earlier in the season but Pitts grabbed it instead of the intended WR?
Man, Trask had some targets on that team. When Copeland was the 4th best option, you know we had studs!
How firm is McCray? Seeing some chatter that he could flip to FSU. Please tell me this kid is all Gator.
