Not sure what your even referring to as the post I responded to was Bobby's and he already told me he was talking about the 2022 season. But the post I quoted didn't have those names in it So im not sure what you are referring to
I thought you were replying to his question about who was good on our defense this past season. I agreed with all the names you mentioned other than Thornton. He was the definition of "should have been a redshirt." Kid didn't know what he was doing out there.
Ahhh, my apologies I see now you quoted me as an example of what you were thinking (minu thornton) but your post directed at someone else. Gotcha lol i thought you were saying come on man to me because i listed the same names as "He" we good
And I was replying to his question and like you read it as this season that just ended but he actually tagged the both of us I see clarifying he actually meant 2022.... of which I had nothing for him. Trying to think of any real standouts in 2022 defense and I can't.
I thought Thornton played well. Flew around out there and made plays. Yes, he didn’t know where to be at times, but I thought he showed good athleticism and a good feel for the game.
he definitely looks to be more suited for guard, but I’m thinking it was his choice to want to try to play tackle
Where is our new DL coach..Napier needs to get someone in quick. With a bad season and no position coach it’s open season on our recruits.
And I know he didn’t get on the field, but in camp Boone was all anyone was talking about. If he’s back healthy that will be like getting a top DL from the portal.
That recruiting "miss" pissed me off big time. No reason to do that for the highest rated WR in the state of FL.
If he sent film of his effort and routes he would have been dropped anyway. Caleb Douglas replaced him and caught 50% more passes despite missing half the year to injury
Yeah...but Gibson might have too lol I just saw enough on the field to form my opinion. There's probably a thread somewhere on this board for the game early in his senior season vs Apopka. I detailed what I saw from Gibson....and I pointed out the best player on the field was a Jr safety for West Orange named Castell
He really did. One play he would look all SEC, the next I would be wondering what he was doing. What you would expect from a true freshman out there. Well a true freshman that has a lot of potential. I agree, this was a great year to take your lumps and be ready to be consistent the next two years.
