He and few others were on an Instagram chat and confirmed their commitment. Not that it means anything anymore but

 

McCray is an end, right so his position coach is Mike Pete

 

Who is another coach I wouldn't be surprised if we cut.

Its much more likely conditioned on the contract rather than performance, or do you contend that companies providing NIL $ to player X still have to pay him after he hits the portal and heads off to a different school? I can assure you that companies creating these contracts are smart enough to construct them so that they are both legal and restrictive.

 

They aren’t allowed to require them to attend a specific school or to actually play. They can’t be contingent on on-field performance. My guess is they are location based. For UF athletes, I would imagine they require they live within so many miles of Gainesville in order to fulfill their obligations. If they move out of the area, they break their contract.

Has any of us actually seen a recent actual legit contract one of these kids signed? I'm curious to what it actually says. Assumptions make the mind go wild with imagination. Lol

Some of this stuff is state law, so it's more than just what the NCAA is enforcing. Either way, it wouldn't make much sense to put things that are in direct violation of the rules and laws in writing.
