Gotcha. Not too concerned about either of those tbh. Looking forward to the old secondary members being gone
Nope. Mistakes happen. I'm confident he's playing to the best of his ability. I don't see anyone on our team who deserves shitty fans.
Well, the shitty fans pay the players' shitty salaries, so my position is that they are well within bounds in criticizing shitty play when it occurs.
If, by and large, it was truly NIL, then I think most fans would not have a problem. Unfortunately as everyone knows, its "shitty NIL", otherwise known as pay for play. The last time I checked, that makes them paid professionals, and the fans perception of the players is far from the worst consequence of NIL. It'll be getting fired from their job if their play is too "shitty."
Does that include Cletus, who couldn't get past 10 th grade, unemployed , never been to a game bit spends every Saturday in his mommas basement screaming "Roll Tide" as he trolls on the internet from his cell phone when something don't go his way?
That's one of my biggest questions about giving these kids so much moneybfor unknown return. Can the NIL collectives recoup money and kids get cut for under performing? I'm not sure that's an option at this point
NIL is the crappy middle ground of don't pay players, which was always wrong, and $10,000 McDonalds bags. Legal, but not directly paying players so we can pretend like they are student athletes I can't hear you blah blah blah, sticks fingers in ears. Everyone is free to voice displeasure with poor performance in a public forum, it crosses the line for me when fans take it directly to the player via social media, texts, calls, etc.
