Not our night, but just win. South Carolina has been annihilated on the road besides at Vandy. Need to go on a big run to start.

 

Yea he makes a difference and man he gained some muscles. Guy looks like a grown man out there now. Has to get back in shape but man he got big.

 

I'd start Micah in the second half so Rueben doesn't get number 4. Then sub out at first timeout.

Nah, Chins is the starter. Just needs to avoid the silly fouls. If he does pick up a quick 4th, we may need to go small ball or bring in Mikic, because Handles looks like he's good for 5 minutes at a time before he needs a breather.

 

Handlogten isn't working hard enough to get in position for rebounds and is not blocking out very well. Lots of rust to shake off, IMO. Condon and Haugh work relentlessly and I'm not seeing Micah doing that yet. Clayton, for as great as he is, takes too many crazy shots and hogs the ball too much at times. Haugh is playing like a beast once again. Will Richard MUST get more involved in the game. 0-2, 1 reound no assists. He's hardly touched the ball. Chinyelu gets too far away from the basket too often and commits silly fouls. Final 1st half observation. We had so much early success, scoring without a lot of effort, we got lazy and stopped working the ball around and into the big men. Plus the defense was terrible until the amped it up with about 7 minutes left. When the defensive intensity picked up, the offense was smoother and more effective. With adjusting to Micah being out there, plus Martin being back, the continuity is lacking. Hopefully, the adjustments for the second half will have us playing better, just like at Miss. State.
