The 2013-2014 team went 21-0 in the SEC that year. Still insane to me, lol.

I had to miss seeing the game live. I had agreed to being a duplicate bridge player in a "beginners" group and technically I am a beginner because I have only been playing duplicate for a year.

Of course I kept track of how things were going on my phone.

And my partner and I won and this was her first time playing duplicate bridge. She had played rubber/"party" bridge in the past but has only taken a few beginner leasons. I had to revert my bidding to "old school".

Watched the game and lots of bad calls both ways. Typical.

What made the difference was that the Gators are elite both ways and UT is only elite on D. Their guards are pretty good on O but their frontcourt is not.

Enjoyed victory margaritas after finishing watching the replay.

If we had beaten Mizzou at home and Georgia on the road with the rest of our resume I think we would be the #1 overall seed. But we didn't.

Don't dis Houston. They were 19-1 in a decent conference. Better than Duke's 19-1 in a crappy conference.

I know when my emotions get the best of me. I was wrong. Mods could have done worse. They have a tough job. Big respect for board ROE.

On one foul against Condo, the commentator said if he did not swing his arm, it would not have been called. On replay, Condo never hit the UT player! How in the hell does a player foul without touching the other guy? Only in the SEC!

Good prep for the Dance. It won't always be let-em-play SEC refs.

I mean, it did look like he could have fouled somebody, maybe.

UCF had Houston beat and borderline swindle quality officiating got them to OT where they pulled it out.

    But who won?

Gators down a ton and pull one out versus USCe.

They are very good for sure, and this year for once it’s on both ends of the floor. But I would absolutely love to see them in the finals. Houston is far too small & matchup very poorly if they should find themselves up against the Gators for the title…

I watched both the Houston game and the Duke game last night. I was not impressed with either team and their style of play imho.
There was lots of standing around like statues waiting for the ball.

Reggie Miller was a total baller! I hated that cat for what he did to the Magic in the 90s, but also had a ton of respect for his game. He should be an NBA GOAT but has been overshadowed and underrated.
