Hahaha. “Older brother” is such an interesting time to frame. For me that’s 20 months.

IDK part of me wants it to be UConn. We’ve already beaten up on Oklahoma, if they see that name on the jersey might get an extra bit of focus.

UConn isn’t that good. If we give them A effort shouldn’t be a contest.

The thing about Maryland is they have no depth. Their starting 5 is excellent, but I think we would wear them down.

If he's too fast: Tommy Hawk. If he's too big: Chinyelu. If he's too long: Hands. If he's a mix of all that: Condo
    Or am I missing something?

I think Norfolk State was the top rated 15 or 16 seed if I'm not mistaken....and we took our foot off the gas when we were up 53-21

We would have to attack fast and often and get one of their starters in foul trouble.

I think depth is overrated in a single game. Obviously it’s important if you want to win it all, but in a single win or go home game, the starters will play 40 minutes each if they have to.

I don't think Jay Wright has watched us play. If he thinks Haugh is just a role player that is lucky to get some minutes, he hasn't been paying attention. Haugh is always in at the end of games when it counts because he can shoot free throws and get boards.

Not a very good last 30 mins. Glad to get one out of the way but defense has to be focused for the next one. That was ugly at times they really worked us inside.

Burn the redshirt! It would be worth it. Seriously, though, Queen is a beast. His quickness is really surprising given his size.

I wasn't able to watch the 2nd half, can anyone comment on how TG used the bench and if we really did take our foot right off the gas?

Foot directly off gas on defense. Guys looked like they weren’t totally engaged. Offense it was sluggish we are just gifted. Normal rotation until the under 4 time out. Bench after that. Not ideal but on to the next.

eh? Depth helps a lot when you get refs blowing the whistle a lot. Replacing someone who gets in foul trouble with near starter ability is a pretty big advantage.

He pronounces it pretty similar to the way most people say hawk, kind of in between the traditional pronunciation of Haugh and Hawk. Definitely has a K sound.

It’s hard to keep focus when up 51-19. Game never felt in doubt obviously. The 11-0 run I chalked up to just losing the edge after that huge lead. They were just trying to get to the half.

Would have liked to see them come out stronger at the start of the 2nd half - at least to get that dominant momentum back. Still seemed like they were coasting a bit and getting outhustled - but the lead stayed around 20. No stress win, but need to clamp down that D going forward.
