BTW, it's great listening to Sean Kelley and Lee Humphrey's radio call in my hearing aids as I work away here today. How cool is to have a voice that has been IN THESE MOMENTS describing the actions of our beloved Gators?

This may have been mentioned but did y’all see that the Houston kid who didn’t get the final shot off could have picked up the ball after jumping? Y’all surely win anyways but surprised so few in the media have mentioned this.

 

I laugh because I told my family, we measure the opposing team in the first half, then we turn up the heat. I also told them this is going down to the last thirty seconds and hopefully we make the plays to win. I was worried, but then my wife said, who finally learned enough about Gator basketball this year, says, don’t worry Clayton will make the key play just like he has all year, confident in what she said. I was stunned! She goes t really care about sports but this unbelievable run by the Gators this year, even she got excited. I was just glad I didn’t need a defibulator, LOL

 

It would be traveling, no?

 

@freedomgator , you like your crow cold, warm or hot?? J/k man. This team has something in them that just tightens up when they are up against it. I’ve been confident in them each game they’ve been down.

 

Not one freshman played in the game for either team.

 

Yes, but there would be time on the clock and a try for a steal and heave or a foul to stretch the game out.

 

that’s what I thought but evidently no. He never dribbled before going up for the shot. He would have just been starting his dribble in an odd way. Easy to see why he was confused though.

 

I’m fairly certain that’s wrong. If you leave the ground, your only options are shoot or pass. You can’t start your dribble after you jump.

 

Love how we had them discombobulated at the end. Feisty defense with great effort.

 

I am sure Sean Kelly will eventually wear on me but I sure do miss Mick

 

Yeah, back in the Stone Age when I played in high school we called up and down and it was definitely a turnover.
