I was thinking the same at the time. My wife and daughter were watching with me, I went silent. The boys did one of their runs which demoralizes opposing teams. When Tommy hit his second three, both contested, I figured the other team was in disarray, then Walter goes inside, dribbles out to the three line, opens up to a three, all net, we have seen these runs all year. I knew they were stunned at this point, They saw 2025 Fighting Gator men's basketball. Just ask Alabama's coach.

 

Let me 'splain myself here. I like CB too. I think he's very entertaining and he can take a joke with the best of them, which I admire. In fact, he and that crew are leaps and bounds above any other group of BK commentators on TV, period. But this is SEC sports bragging rights time and Big Chuck sports the wrong shade of O&B. I really like Sir Charles and his loyalty to AU; I just want to whip his team and aggravate the hell out of him when we do, one more time. And of course, I want to do it in front of God and everybody - and I look forward to running my mouth about it if we can get it done. Aubie fans talk a lot of shit, it's only fair they hear some in return if we knock them off again. I am of course pulling for AU against Izzo's bunch.

 

We either see Bruce Pearl or Tom Izzo. Given Izzo’s track record, based on that alone I want to play Auburn, as tough as they’ll be

I think when we pulled within 3, at 75-72, Texas Tech was thinking, "Uh-oh," and tightened up a bit, whereas we suddenly looked like a team of great whites circling a wounded and bleeding seal. Their fans' faces took on a look of gathering doom. I know I yelled, "We're gonna win this!"

I presume it was because so many of our possessions ended at the line. Foul during the act of shooting doesn't count in stats as a shot.

This is how I feel. In one game, anything can happen. As long as you're in the final four, you like your chances.

 

There are only great teams remaining. You have to bring it.

 

Every time the ball was going out of bounds under the goal, TT was pushing and bumping any player on our team out of bounds, not going for the ball.
It took to nearly the end of the game to get a foul on them doing this. Their coach was yelling at the officials it was their ball every-time it went out of bounds. No, it was bumping and hacking which should have been called.
