Or encouraging because our backcourt was terrible in that half

No true PG. Walter has played great so far this season, but this conference is different. Time will tell how it works out

Still have a shot to get back in

Need to get back to playing good defense.

Teams can't full put pressure the ball because that would open things up to a high flying pace which we actually thrive in. They need to be able to set their defense. So I wouldn't say full out pressure but a controlled type of pressure then yes you are correct until proven otherwise.

This team is unbeatable if they can play defense and hold teams under 80 points. It comes down to defense and Kentucky has found a way to carve us up with some adjustments. I'm still a believer that it is okay to change up the defense once in a while just to give the other team a new look and maybe get them out of a run.

We could easily get back into this. Clayton had a few bad turnovers. We're playing a top ten team at their place. This wasn't going to be a cake walk.

Walt struggles when pressured; when teams get up in his jersey. I am convinced he is a better player; and we will be a better team when he plays more off ball.

Still plenty of ball to be played. Play so far has been a bit discouraging...

I think we will see a much better effort in the second half; and win going away.

Allowed a 16-0 run in the middle of the half after being up 26-15 and then another big run at the end of the half after being tied at 40. During those runs we started jacking up 3's too quick, had turnovers and defensive lapses. We're 7-12 from the free throw line, KY is 3-7. They're shooting 3's better than us, we have 6 turnovers to only 7 assists, while KY has only 3 turnovers to 11 assists. Too much one-on-one from our guys and they're moving the ball around better. Richard, Condon, Aberdeen and Martin are 1-10 shooting 3's, Clayton with 4 turnovers. We're ahead in rebounds 21-18.
Kentucky has been tested more than us and their resilience showed the last half of the 1st half. Let's see if the Gators can do the same the 2nd half.

As poorly as we played at the end of the half, Golden was worse.

If we lose this game., it's clearly because he didn't call the time out and reset the team when needed.

We all know this, but adjustments should be made during the game as well, not just at halftime.

I'm concerned about our penchant for trying to hit contested 3s. Need to get back to shooting 3s when open of kickouts, otherwise, get to the basket. And D up Brea for goodness sake.

Need Richard to get going and we have to cut off their off ball cuts to the basket. FTs will be pivotal late and we have to be better than we were in the first half.

CTG perhaps should've called a TO, but if we lose that won't be the reason why...

Florida needs to play better team defense to get back into this game. Golden will have to make some adjustments.

Kentucky is beating Florida's man-to-man defense with players cutting to the basket for easy lay-ups.

Both Florida's bigs & Kentuckys bigs are in foul trouble:
    - Chinyelu, Haugh & Aberdeen with 2 fouls a piece;
    - UK forward Garrison & center Amari Williams also have 2 fouls.

Martin and Clayton hit back-to-back treys to start the 2nd half.
