SNL is nothing now compared to that show in the 70s and 80s. What a unique and special group of talents they were. It actually started to turn in the early 80s. I personally think SNL ran its course 3 decades ago
Soooo what about the stories about how his HS team was average at best before Lagway took the helm. And he vastly improved from JR to SR year. It's HS ball, they absolutely have 0 control over their schedule or competition, unless they transfer.
https://www.si.com/college/colorado...-blue-chip-son-mistreated-on-recruiting-visit Former CU Buffs standout Anwawn Jones took to social media and told a story about his son Marco's recruiting visit during the USC weekend. He let it be known in a reply to CU recruit Talan Chandler that Sanders and the Buffs won't be receiving a commitment from the legacy recruit. "My son, Marco Jones, was invited to Boulder for the USC game, and he loved it," Jones said on X. "Four-star LB, son of an alum, unreal game experience, all was gravy... Until they kicked Marco out of the recruit area after the game and said they didn't know who he was.
Bad PR for them. Even if you aren’t recruiting them, probably would’ve been better to not kick them out , especially a legacy guy.
Looks like Deion is going all in on the portal with Colorado ranked 67th on 247 in recruiting. You would think with Deion's celebrity status and all the attention Colorado is getting they would have a higher ranked class. I'm assuming they are going to go all in on the portal again so his sons can win next year.
I think I remember Deion saying earlier in the year that CU will only recruit a handful of hs players. They planned to use the portal to fill the rest of their roster.
