Funny you being that up
My entire childhood wearing a mask in public…especially a store was considered taboo and illegal in some communities. This was to protect citizens from would be bad guys. Now we allow hem to wear masks, encourage them in fact.

 

The information we got was based on past airborne disease information because that’s all we had. Sometimes in life all we have to choose from is a bad choice or a worse choice. To expect the medical community to have exact answers to the prevention of a new disease is at best infantile.

 

What new disease ?

 

Especially on Halloween.

The one exception well done. I also was allowed to wear a gun o school on Halloween as I dressed up as a cowboy. One girl in my classe dressed as a cow… maybe she was an early furry?
