A lot of focus on that travel by Queen, but the kid just may be a generational talent. He is BIG, has soft hands, and can really move. Run him into the ground to limit his effectiveness and guard their perimeter. We play the way we can and we move on, but we can't play sloppy.

According to KP, only Auburn, UTK, and Bama are better than MD.

This will be one of the better starting 5 we've faced all year with easily the best skilled bigs we've seen.

Also, our guys don't have 2 bad games in a row. I love the makeup of this team!

I just rewatched the last 8 minutes of the game and WOW - the amount of moving screens, push offs, lowered shoulders, you name it...that resulted in fouls on US, not them, was insane. The best (worst) was of course Richard getting knocked to the ground on a moving screen then while laying on the ground gets called for a foul. And that's just on the offensive end for them, the only defensive fouls called on them were hockey body-checks (the push on Haugh w/ 11 sec left uncalled). Hurley has the balls to complain about the officiating after all that too. Thank GOD we made enough winning plays to counter all that (and all our missed FTs) to pull out the victory...but I can't remember the last time I saw that many blatant offensive fouls called instead on the defense...I sure as hell hope we have a better officiating crew for this Maryland game.

Also a lot of it is WHO is shooting the FTs. When Condo and Chins get a lot of FTs, it's always an adventure. We can't have Martin going 0-2 or other guards missing the front end of 1 and 1s though. Thankfully we tightened it up at the end and made FTs when it counted most.

But, by jingo them refs were going to get the .10s of a second on the clock right. Sure not gonna complain about that...

Florida wins every game decisively if they hit free throws at a higher clip

We don’t want an early game. Don’t forget it’s 3 hours back.

Late games means I have to stay up past midnight and I have to be at work at 6am the next day.

By them #&%$ing him, he meant that they were supposed to guarantee UConn won, but clearly failed.

I was saying it but you get bitch slapped around here for complaining about refs for some reason. Those refs were trying to squeeze every .1 second to send them to the rim . Game was won with the Martin dunk and the two 3s by Clayton but they had a chance with 11 seconds left and like a 3 possession game. Luckily we're too good.

And there is only a 15% chance of all that 80% of the time.

Yep I think you nailed it, panda. 30% chance of coming away with 0 pts (basically made up of our 9% chance of missing both + our 21% chance of missing only the first shot), and the same 49% chance we had above of coming away with 2 pts. This leaves us with the 21% chance of making the first and missing the second to give us 1 pt. 1.19 expected points per event.
