Neither team scared me. CSU looked *tiny* and on paper you want to play the 12 seed. So of course I was pulling for them lol.

That Maryland big might give some nightmares about that Colorado guy we couldn’t stop last year. But he definitely isn’t the fastest looking, maybe with us having full depth we can get out in transition and wear him down. I think everyone saw the same thing. I assume similar to UCONN they’ll want to try and slow it down and make it ugly, keep the pace in the 60’s-70’s whereas FL will want to run their fat big out of the gym.

They’re probably used to playing most of the game.

I’m gonna say this one stat that favors us. I’d rather have a crab 8 than 5. I see a big win for us. UConn put the fear of God in us and they are a better team than both. I woulda rather played CSU but I don’t think they have a chance. Calling 15+ and murder the spread of -5.5. Also -225 for Gators +205 for Twerps.

True, but they’re probably not used to playing at our pace and against our depth. Let’s hit them with wave after wave of fresh subs and wear them out

I watched that over and over and it all depends when you think he has possession after the last dribble. When he actually gains full possession his left foot is down, then does a 1-2. I thought 100% he travelled before watching in slow motion, now i’m not quite so certain

The year Maryland won their Natty they won on a buzzer beater in the second round. We all remember it here, because it kept UNCW from what would have been their first Sweet-16 trip.

Lets hope this doesn't spark them like it dod that season.

Frankly, if we are going to extend games with reviews that add.001 to the clock, we should review buzzer beaters for traveling.

Terps big guys look clumsy (Baby Huey?). Connecticut was a great wake up call and we will not be sloppy. We will run like there is no tomorrow and they have no bench! Go Gators!

    10 vs 5 fouls.
I didnt watch the game, so I cant say for certain, but I will say its not a good look on the video you also let the 5 foul team get away with a travel to win the game.

They actually play about the same pace. But they probably shouldn’t, haha.

Oh wow, KenPom suggests that Maryland and Florida play at almost the exact same pace. How interesting.

I expect this game to be a battle. Maryland is likely the best of the lower seeds still playing. Not sure how much to make of this depth issue, but since we like to run out players anyway, we might as well try to wear them down.

We are just begging to lose when we miss that many free throws, but interestingly, free throws might be the part of the game over which we have the least control. We can change how we shoot threes, how we guard threes, how fast we play, what combo of players we put on the floor, how much intensity we bring, etc etc. But a free throw is the same shot every time, and it either goes in or it doesn’t.
