Not yet. But it will likely be an evening game on the east coast. The two west bracket games will start at like 8pm and 10pm. Unknown if we will be first or second game.

 

Our bigs struggle with skilled big men (see CMB). But what our bigs can do is get out and run. We need to just beat them down the court time and time again and tire them out, then close them out in the end like we have been doing.

All starters better score double digits when you only use basically one guy from the bench!

 

Tough match up as we did not guard the three that well and UConn shot poorly with wide open shots. Bigs are better finishers than ours as well. Our advantage is depth. We have to get some of the starters for Maryland in foul trouble. CSU did not get any players in foul trouble.

 

Hopefully CTG makes the referees aware of this before the start of the game

 

You guys are always worried about such trivial stuff...all I know is if I sit on my recliner we always win. Nothing will stop me from that chair so were good here.

 

I like this matchup for Florida. UConn did a masterful job controlling the tempo today and combined with too many first half turnovers it took Florida out of their rhythm. I just don't see Maryland doing that.

Agree with others that Gators have to defend the 3 better, but Florida brings athleticism Maryland hasn't seen all year in the B1G.

 

Todd should get a bunch of his old USF fans to come out and support us

Clean up the defensive rebounds and free throws and we will be fine.

Maryland skilled, for sure. But I think the pace plays to our greater strength. I think we wear them out late, and win going away.

Lol....probably cheaper to stay out there than charter flights back and forth.

Their starters played 33, 36, 36, 37 and 37 minutes today. They were all in double figures. Meanwhile, their bench scored a total of 2 points. Let's wear these MFers down and run them out of the gym

They are good and will be a different test than UConn. They can D it up.
