Man tests positive for COVID-19, monkeypox and HIV all at once - The Jerusalem Post (jpost.com) The patient in the case report, an Italian 36-year-old male, spent five days in Spain in June. Nine days after returning home from his trip, he developed a fever, sore throat, fatigue, headache and inflammation in his groin area. Shortly afterward, he tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 and within a day he developed a rash on his left arm. The day after, small, painful blisters appeared on his torso, lower limbs, face and rear. After being admitted, the patient reported that he had unprotected sex with men during his stay in Spain. He was tested for monkeypox and tested positive for the West African variant of the virus, which has been found to be responsible for the outbreak in Spain. Even after 20 days, monkeypox tests continued to return positive, with the physicians stressing that this could mean that patient may remain contagious for several days after clinical remission. The patient had been treated for syphilis in 2019 and suffered from bipolar disorder, according to the case report. He had been vaccinated with two doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in 2021 and had contracted the virus in January 2022. What did the scientists have to say? "This case highlights how monkeypox and COVID-19 symptoms may overlap, and corroborates how in case of co-infection, anamnestic collection (case history) and sexual habits are crucial to perform the correct diagnosis," wrote the physicians in the case report. This guy has some serious bad luck
If he had HIV, he already had a compromised immune system making him much more susceptible to additional infection(s).
Wow, now thats what I call a BAD DAY at the Docters office! They have a radio bit on my favorite station every morning called "The Bizarre files" - Some guy from India got on a bender with his "friends" and they decided to stick a 4" diameter rigid cup up his rectum as a "joke" - (Yeah, with friends like that who needs enemies...right?) Anyway, this guy can't take a crapper for a week and finally goes to the Dr's office. Upon examination the Dr, can only surgically remove the "cup". Guy was "embarrassed" about the situation and explained that as why he didn't go "earlier". Doc said he was close to dying over it............... A "bizarre" story all right!!!! SMH
No bad luck is a bit of an exaggeration, even if it coincided with bad decision making. I’m not sure one could come down with all three of those simultaneously if that was their sole aim.
He must've forgotten to shout "Armageddon!!" (WARNING: Don't play this at high volume in public) Also, wasn't there a news anchor in Miami that had a "bizarre" story like that several years back? Something about needing to have a "toy" removed?
So, people like that dude can travel all around the world but a professional tennis player is barred from the U.S.A.. because he refuses the clot/death-shot? Yeah, we see what the deal really is... I'll bet he can still travel to the U.S.A..
