Had a good friend who did find a square grouper (MJ) in the Port of the Isles canal near Ochopee. He responded oddly by stabbing it till it sank.

 

Dang. Next time I want party, I guess I'll just gas my buddy's boat up, lol.

Well, it was in the 1970s but we were trolling for kings on the reef off Seahorse Key (Cedar Key) and came upon some square grouper. We didn't "land" any, just radioed a local that monitored channel 16 to report to the police. They ultimately made it out and pulled the goods from the water.

 

I’m sure the story has already been optioned. If the Coens were still working together, it would be them. But there are plenty of imitators now

 

When the sea sends its turtles they’re not sending their best. They’re sending turtles that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. And some, I assume, are good turtles.
