I believe it was 0 out of 27 jet sweep motions. As has been noted by others, all it did most of the time was self neutralize our best WR and/or bring an 8th man into the box to stop the run.

Yeah it was very apparent that Kentucky's entire team was far far far stronger than all of our guys. Even when we hit him at the line, he dragged 3, 4, 5, sometimes 6 defenders for another 5 yards. Yet, our backs would get tackled by just a single defender. Our lines on both sides were victimized all game. It's pretty much what our weakness really is - we are a soft team. Forget about poor playcalling, our S&C is probably the worst in the conference. What good is a perfect play if the players can't muscle their way through the play? The kid we got from Bama, there is a reason why he isn't at Bama anymore. I hear all sorts of things about players who leave Bama, and the talk of the town over the summer was he just wasn't good enough for their scout team. Lacked proper technique and strength and that attitude that no defender is ever going to touch the QB. We get everyone's crumbs. The S&C problem has been an recurring issue for many years. There was a time we corrected it but once again it's reared its ugly head.

How do you guys like the play a bunch of NFL teams are running where they fake the jet sweep and then have the wr loop back behind the qb? They usually run these plays with their shiftiest guy.
