Well they actually are NFTs. They are on the Polygon chain from what I can tell.

When an NFT sold for a huge amount a couple of months ago, I had two realizations:
    - I have no concept of how an NFT works
    - I don't need to know

I plan on printing the trading cards, framing them and mounting them on the wall next to my diploma from Trump University and to celebrate I'm going to take a 10-year old Trump steak from the freezer and put it on grill and will accompany my feast with a glass of Trump wine.

Holy cow... I don't know if I believe it... but the site says they are sold out!

I tend to doubt it... but you never know.

If they are sold out, I have to think this was just some way to "launder" some money.

I forget to mention my framed stock certificate in Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts reflecting my investment following its IPO.

You can see these on open seas, the NTF trading site. Most of what’s being sold there looks worse than the ones posted here. A lot of NFTs are made like this, but it appears they made art work of a few Trump poses, a few hats, a few items for him to hold, a few suits, a few background images, etc… and a computer randomly mixed and matched them. You get some absolutely stupid ones that way, like Trump holding a basketball on the moon wearing a hard hat.

You can see the asking prices, and some of the sold prices in ETH. People are asking about $200 resale for the shittiest ones. If you scroll through, you can see some sold prices as low as 0.03 ether, which is about $36… 1/3 the original price. Looks like the better ones are selling for around $200.

Will be interesting to see where these are in a couple weeks. My guess is $5….

One more thing I saw on open seas is that these NFTs have a smart contract attached, so that every time one of these is sold, from now til forever, Trump gets 10% of the sale price, even for private party sales. Seems like an easy way for anyone to funnel money to Trump anonymously… I have two ether accounts, I buy a Trump card, then sell it from one account to another for million dollars in ether… Trump gets 100k, potentially untraceable by authorities…

That is pretty typical with NFT's, at least the ones I have dealt with in the past. The original creator will get a royalty off of every trade and since they use block chain technology there is a record of all of the transactions. It will be hard to hide anything nefarious as well.

There are records of transactions, but no names attached, you could prove Trump was profiting off these, but it would be almost impossible to prove it was a foreign government funneling money to Trump, for example…

Click that link and it goes to the "recent sales" page of the opensea website. If you click on one you can see all the recent activity. They all trade in eth or Ethereum which is a crypto currency. People who own them are posting ridiculous pricing on what they say they would sell them for today.
