LMFAO! I haven't heard that expression in quite some time. Thank you for that old-fashioned levity... I actually laughed out loud.

 

What I really like is that I can't see who everyone is getting torqued off by because I've obviously blocked him. I love that feature, and, I obviously chose well, based on everyone's reactions...

 

It’s a great feature that I’ve started to use more often. I don’t come here to argue with trolls or debate those pretending to be UF fans, I come for Gator information and the occasional legit discussion.

 

Did you just call the @Skink old-fashioned? You're in for it now, Buddy!!

 

Actually Rick isn’t too far off the mark. Lately I sometimes find myself wishing things had not drifted so far away from how they used to be.

Well buddy, I don’t think I’ve arrived at. “cheap and bitter”! Just validating that I am “old fashioned” at times

 

Try running like you used to run... yeah, you'll feel cheap and bitter.

 

I am old fashioned. It is who I am, but I do think I’m a little more forgiving with people who have displayed bad behavior and even unethical conduct in the past but show indications they have evolved into a better person. Deion Sanders hasn’t shown me he has any more integrity now than he had when he represented himself as a student/athlete at FSU but, didn’t attend classes. Of course he had Bobby Bowden running interference for him and that may have provided rationale for his behavior then. Can’t use that as an excuse now.

 

I don't know Skink. I kind of enjoy riding in a car than horse buggies.

 

Here’s an example -

As I sit here watching a bunch of NBA guys represent the USA in the Olympics, I think back to when we weren’t sending multimillionaire professionals to the games, and instead allowed amateurs and college kids to represent. The way it’s done today, there would never have been The Miracle On Ice, in my opinion the greatest moment in Olympic history.

All because we couldn’t stand not getting more gold medals than we already were.

I was 4 or 5 years old in P.I. The only thing I remember is it took à long time to get to my grandmas house. My guess is she was less than 10 miles from our house. Off topic before anyone else. LOL
