I thought Oh St was in trouble....6 holes to go on that back nine. Unbelievably tough finish

 

Yeah, the disappointment is being close and having it in your control and then giving it back on that last 3 holes.
Kress didn't have the year we needed and didn't really take the next step, Dubois had a poor season but played pretty well here at the end, Gilligan had a nice season but struggled at times late, Bell flashes elite at times but then can implode at others, Turner is a future star.
Only lose Dubois from that 5, so next year they should be ranked pretty high preseason.....nice if they can add a portal stud into the mix. Two signess are coming in, one from New Zealand looks like he could be a contributor. Poulter had a few flashes early in the year and then disappeared. Should be some comp for a slot in the lineup.....would think Gilligan, Turner, Bell, and probably Kress are solid 4

 

Illinois was dominant in stroke play, GT barely sneaks in. GT wins that QF match....the one UF likely could have been in
FSU edges UNC
Vandy vs Oh St and Aub vs Virginia are still going and close

 

Lower seed won every match

 

Both semis are tight
GT leads FSU 3-2 halfway thru back nine....GT is 2 up in the 3 matches they lead so FSU needs to rebound fast
Aub and OSU are 2-2-1.....all the leads are 1 up except for one OSU lead is 3 up......they are about halfway thru so lot of golf left

 

GT wins 2 matches comfortable, FSU wins one same fashion, FSU also 2 up with 2 to play in another
The deciding match had GT 3 up at one point, FSU went 1 up late before GT tied it again on 18....so extra holes will decide this one

Oh St 2 up in 2 matches, Aub 1 up in 2 matches, 1 tied

FSU wins in 19 holes

Aub down 1-0 but leads in 2 of the 3 remaining matches. 1 up in 2 of them but it's late so they look good

 

Oh st win 18th hole in the final match to force extra holes......auburn wins it in 21 holes
Unbelievable semis....hope aub can pull it off tomorrow
