(WBK) LSU WBB - trouble brewing for Mulkey?

She is clearly concerned… went on some rant about The Washington Post seeking comments from past players, and offering anonymity.
I don’t pay much attention to her, but the times I have… she seems like a complete imbecile.

 

The comments on X are worth paying for.

 

100%. This video is a great take on her on-court behavior. I bet this is going to be just as explosive. She's doing the pre-story belittling that has been perfected in a national setting.

 

Go Go Washington Post.

 

That press conference of hers is just the classic modern playbook. Strawman arguments, veiled threats, hauling the university in as if "they" are coming after "us". Painting the press as the enemy of the people.

When, most likely, the Post has the goods. And she knows it. But never apologize, always attack. Great leadership.

To those of thus angry at Stricklin for not getting a Mulkey: win at all costs has a cost.

I have had the displeasure of having to do deal with her a few times over the years, and know others who have also who have said nothing good about her at all and neither can I. I have not a clue what the story is about but now I cant wait to read it.

 

Good luck trying to sue the WaPo, especially if they are telling the truth about this trailer park tramp.

 

She's lawyering up (she says) to sue the Post for their "hit piece" which hasn't even been published yet. Hey, Kimmy, it may be a hit piece or not, but what's important is whether it's true or not.
What an unlikable woman.

 

Mulkey said she wouldn’t talk to the WaPo reporter after his hit job on Brian Kelly. Incredibly, she seems to be referring to this lovely piece on poverty in Baton Rouge that has passing mentions of Kelly and LSU’s athletic budget.

She also whines that it was gotcha to demand answers on short turnaround. But he's been asking her for 2 years where she was on Jan 6. I bet she didn't mind the puff piece Sally Jenkins did in the Post a mere 3 months ago.

She might be lawyering up against the Post. But LSU might want to lawyer up against her. She'll burn it to the ground to save herself.

 

People don’t typically react so strongly unless they have something to hide

 

They gave her repeated opportunities to talk and present her side of things. She refused and just wants to muzzle them, despite not knowing what the article will say.
