By the rules? He can pitch all day everyday

Monday would be 3 days rest and it would be coaching malpractice to start a potential #1 pick that just threw 120 pitches. But an inning or two may be defensible.

The wild card is Tuesday if Saturday is rained out. 4 days rest is still short, especially given the $$ risk. But it wouldn’t be a fireable offense to start him.

0.00% he sees an action Saturday and 0.1% chance any action Sunday in a relief role.

This is confusing? Today is Thursday so Sunday would be 3 days rest.
    What am I missing?

I am fishing Saturday morning and will cast 45 times and watch Saturday night on zero days rest.

Will I be breaking any rules?

I would expect him to play if we get to a Monday game. But some corn-dogs are saying that he might close out a Sunday game, which I find to be interesting. I hope they don't ruin that man's multi-million dollar future for a game win. Either way, it is what it is, and we still have beat the best to be the best.

That sounds like lunacy. I think the obsession with Skenes is going a bit far. They had to win most playoff games without him, and that will be true again this weekend.

I also find this kind of talk a bit ironic given how critical they were of Scully in 2017 when believed he was going to throw Faedo on 3 days rest in a game 3 of the championship. There, of course, was no game 3, but we would have thrown Kowar anyway.

Credit where credit is due: Skenes and Lowder pitched absolute masterpieces in one of the best college baseball games I can remember, especially when you consider what was at stake and the quality of the competition.
On to the Finals and forget about Skenes being a factor until Monday- and that would be for 2-3 innings tops. Let's just win two this weekend with our top guys going and celebrate another NC. LSU is without Skenes and with a Pen that must be gassed so the odds favor us but we must show up with our A game and finish this off.

Agree. Only thing that concerns me is being out of sync from the rest. Sometimes the rest can hurt in that respect and the team that didn’t get rest is still in a groove and able to block out the physical pain. Our bats have to come alive regardless.

No as long as you bring back proof of what you caught.
