They might feel that way and they could be right. Kitna played before Miller though. That bowl game may not mean much and Wisconsin may have had a crappy offense. I don’t see either one being any more than average but I’m not paid to make those decisions. I doubt the kids transferred here to sit on the bench either. Maybe I’ll get a good surprise.

 

Georgia has some talent in their room and I would be surprised if they can keep all three. Does Simpson stay at Bama if Milroe wins the job?

Interesting, very. WH didn’t want to be a #3 at LSU for another season. Now he could still be that, at Ole Miss. UF was his best move, imho, he had a real chance to leap the heap here.

Another failure to negotiate an NIL happens and he asks for a release so Ole Miss doesn't look bad over an extended period? We wrote the playback for him if he wants out.

Can't imagine Howard knew this was coming. If our coaches wanted Howard, they sure messed up their sales pitch on this one.

Since there is no LOI, can't Howard change his mind until enrollment?

Not really sure about that. Most of their fans loved Dart's play as QB1.

 

Walker aside, This seems weird from ole miss' standpoint. Are they not happy with Dart?

So many conflicting reports about why he never singed with another team. I don't know, but he would be an instant starter for the Gators, IMHO had he left in January. But somehow I do NOT think that ship has completely sailed for some lucky team wanting his services. Maybe he rejoins his old coach at Liberty.

 

If Milroe wins the job, they are taking a step back next year. I watched him play a couple of times this year, he can run, but he is very limited as a passer.

I believe Sanders only has 1 year of eligibility left for whatever that is worth. I have to believe Lane told WH about their going after Sanders. Otherwise I would expect WH to tell Lane thanks but no thanks.

Knowing all of that, and assuming Lane is somewhat intelligent, my guess is that he told WH about Sanders and promised him that it will be an open competition for QB in the Fall and WH was good with that and committed with that understanding.

 

Yes, but what I am saying is that we don't really know why? And the chatter is inconclusive. Maybe he got paid? Maybe he likes the new OC that they got? It might be grades? It might be credits? Or he realized that he is fine staying at UCC. I would like to know what really happened.
