I was hopeful right up until I learned Napier did not visit. Either Howard's camp indicated in advance that this was not going to happen or CBN screwed the pooch. I suspect the first. Napier needed his entire offensive coaching staff to accompany him to try to seal this deal. Didn't happen = won't happen. Man this winter is really gloomy. Where can I find a Mertz uniform jersey for this season?

I totally agree with this take!!! We have to do better than Mertz! Miller and Mertz are not the answer. Last night, I saw communication from a paid source, and they were discussing the topic of Howard coming to UF. Because I couldn't read more, I could only surmise their was the probability. So, I communicated that good news was coming and not what or who. At the moment, I am guarded optimistic that we are definitely in the running. Some are saying they believe he is looking for a good NIL deal, and maybe so. You can not blame him. Right now, however, I can't help but feel we are in the driver's seat. We shall see. We need a quarterback, and I've given up on Rashada being that guy. I don't think Howard would have been visited if the ship had not sailed on Rashada. Go Gators!!!
