Goes to Colin Castleton. He's obviously playing through pain right now. He had to take a few minutes last night to deal with the shoulder but came back out and played hard. When he's on the court, you'll notice that he hooks his left hand thumb into his shorts between plays, transferring the support from shoulder to hand. As soon as the action starts going again, he's got both arms up and ready.

I sure hope the training staff is doing all they can for him every day to get that shoulder as well as can be expected. I suppose he'll have surgery as soon as the season ends. But what a man!

He knows he has to show something if he wants to make an NBA roster. A serious shoulder injury would all but eliminate his hopes of playing in the NBA.

I wonder if it is a deltoid injury. From where he was grabbing it it might be.

I did something to screw up my right arm deltoid and it has been a pain for weeks and only slowly getting better. Usually things like this have gone away much quicker. I think that mine was due to my arm being in a weird position and being jerked hard when walking my dog. I can see something like that happening in basketball.

Planet - The thought that immediately came to mind was when he was holding that icebag on his shoulder was - oh crap we are done.

But then he came back in.

So the thought occurred to me that: If coach had lost the team, CC would just say, ain't playing until I'm 100% (if at all the rest of the season), but then he comes right back in.

Who has more to lose to injury on this Gator team than CC? Nobody??

But just now I read 33's comments that staying out could also jeopardize an NBA gig.

So that got me thinking that - Maybe things are a bit more solid in the locker room? Or is it CC thinking, I gotta play to....N.B.A.??

I don't know, just talking. (typing) lol
