    Oh.

    Oh, my bad again.

"Sad and unnatural" is certainly not judgmental at all. Never mind that, well, those people are being precisely natural. That is how they were created. Created by God.....or nature.......

Judgments like yours just play into the false right wing narrative of "look at what these crazies or freaks are CHOOSING to do! They're not like us, they're WRONG!!"

And what could be a worse judgment than being "against God's design" ? That's pretty much calling them "ungodly", which should be inferred to mean "not good" or "wrong."

Look though - no need for anger. The glass is half full. It's very positive that you treat people well even if you have these feelings about them. Not everyone is able to do so.

Certainly, but I have a bone to pick with this as well. I don’t have a problem with people who have critiques of Trump and his character. I really don’t. I agree with some of them, but there is a kind of person who obsesses over the moral downfalls of other people. Like they would not pass up an opportunity to talk about it if the opportunity presented itself. For example, if there is a discussion about the 10 commandments, the conversation would almost inevitably move from discussing the 10 commandments and begin to center on that person and their moral failures.

When I was a teacher I had a student who was not kind. She did things to act up and annoy the other students. She earned a reputation, but her classmates relished talking about her constantly. It almost became their favorite hobby. I agreed with them on some level. She was hated, and she certainly earned it. But there was a way they relentlessly piled on this classmate in a passionately obsessive way that always bothered me. I almost felt like I had to defend her it was so bad. It did not sit right in my spirit, and I could not join in with them. First, it would not be professional because I was the teacher, but second even if we were outside of a professional setting it still would not sit right in my spirit.

I believe moral criticism is OK, but there is a type of moral criticism that goes into hyper-drive. It is not redemptive. It is not constructive. It is not restrained. There is no grace or love in it. It is excessive, and there is no amount of oxygen in a room that could be consumed or calories that could be burned in participating in the activity of piling on and tearing down that person or group of people that would be deemed excessive. I simply cannot join in on that kind of activity and participate with a clean conscience.

Your response makes no sense. A set of "commandments", originating from several religions you mention, can not be a mandated public posting according to our Constitutional interpretation. And by invoking the name of Jesus, you are predisposed to favor your faith doctrine over others in the public sphere.

Here's an idea: We all learn to respect each other as people first, irrespective of ideology or theology, and accept that in the grand biological scheme of Earth, we are another set of sentient organisms.
I know, I know, many humans love to think they are the super-special species. You may believe as you wish but please stop trying to shove your theology down my gullet. I'm just out here wanting to have clean air & water, food, and shelter.

The 10 commandments are incomplete. Why is there no such commandment as "Thou shalt not rape."?

It reminds me of my Church’s debates back when gays were (and technically still are) labeled as “intrinsically disordered” but told that they should not take offense or feel like they were being mistreated- just theology, don’t ya know

Does being this angry all the time physically hurt?

Read your posts in this thread and then read mine. Which one is showing a lack of tolerance.

What "feelings" do I have? I mentioned "love" and "tolerance" as my feelings for the specific people that I discussed. Do those "feelings" bother you?

Oh and I violate Gods design all the time. At no point have I said otherwise. If you would be honest for two seconds you would see I have said this a million times on this board.

ALL of us are sinners in need of redemption.
I am no better than you or the next person.

It would do you well to see yourself similarly.

No one is shoving anything down your gullet.
You chose to partake in this conversation. Sone of you act like you are being tied to a poll and tattooed with bible verses all while having an audio Bible pumped through surgically implanted AirPods.

The drama is thick with you guys.

I am reminded of a book titled the Heresy of Orthodoxy. It is a clever description of the age and the era we live in.

You have not mistreated anyone, though. When people firmly hold their ground and stay planted on the truth of God’s Word false accusations and lies is all they have left to attack us. Of course these lies and false accusations will be exposed for what they are eventually. We simply have to wait patiently for that time to come.
