Former Defensive Line coach Brad Lawing passed away this morning. He was one of the best.

Was that the coach that was at both UF and FSU for a period of time? I recall rumor mill at the time that he had a drinking problem. Condolences to his friends and family.

    Too bad. Yes, a bummer.

God Bless his family and the South Carolina Nation.

There was definitely a lot of personal stuff that Brad had issues with. Spurrier didn’t fire him, but pretty much told him it was time for him to find another job.

He then went to UF and replaced Dan Quinn as DLine coach.

    Yep.

I am pretty sure he went from Columbia to Gainesville to Tallahassee.

Wasn't totally shocked when I opened the thread when I saw his name on Warchant.
