The lead prosecuter on this case should have been disbarred for unethical conduct in a tampa case long ago. Check out USA v FINCH and you will see he is still up to his old tricks

Didn't the last President take campaign funds, use it at his private business (i.e., stuck it in his private business' account), and then distribute the profits to himself and his family?

The rumors of Gillum's problems came out during the campaign regarding his trip to NYC.

FL is the #1 state people moved to in 2021. Yes, we have beaches, great weather 8 months out of the year and no state income tax, but we also are now known as the Free State thanks to big Ron. People from around the country love our Governor. He is so good at his job, he will be President one day.

So it seems like, after going thru this thread, it’s totally normal what he did. I had no idea.

Some years ago I was told, by an FBI agent, that if there was an investigation, someone was going to prison. And I found that to be the case when I arrived at Jesup Federal Correctional Facility. The scheme is to charge the defendant with multiple charges, including conspiracy. The defendant is immediately offered a plea deal where he/she pleads guilty to the conspiracy charge, and all other charges are dropped. You are offered two to three years instead of 18 + if found guilty of all charges. Like many, I couldn't afford to defend myself, so I took the deal. 18 months. My co-conspirators pled not guilty, went to trial and were found not guilty. Good for them, sad for me.

Great to see the contingent that's been rather tepid about justice being served in the January 6th thread suddenly get reinvigorated about justice being served when the topic involves a liberal politician.

Yeah, the evidence on this appear to be far weaker and much more pretextual, that I initially realize from the reporting, which I should’ve known better and maintained my skepticism.

Partying is not a crime! (also, neither is corruption in the USA)
