You'll have a bunch of money by, say, 150.

More likely you'd end up with a situation like Altered Carbon

The drugs are available now if you can find a dr that will write you a script for it and obviously insurance wouldn't cover it so you will need to pay out of pocket

so extra years with good health or just an extended period of being a convalescent? Other questions occur as well. Imagine someone born 150 years ago still being around today? talk about culture and tech shock....

It would be in good health. The theory is that you would dramatically slow down the aging process and the diseases that appear due to aging such as cancer, osteoporosis and alzheimer's

That was the running line when I lived in Tucson too. "When the big one hits, we'll be oceanfront property"

Reminds me of an old Vonnegut short story. Since humans live forever, population growth has been cut off. So in order for anyone to get approval to have a baby someone has to volunteer to give up their life. Good times

I should know this one but it escapes me. One of his last books Galapagos did deal what happens after the end of humanity.

If they are available then they do not work as hypothesized. Too many filthy rich that would be all over this and they’re not living anything out of the ordinary right now.

I can't say who is taking it or not. These findings are still fairly new so you may not know for 20+ years. There are non diabetics that have started taking metformin as well for it's benefits

One of the anti aging drugs is a cancer drug and the dosing is much different than someone who is battling cancer. Good luck finding a Dr that will prescribe it to you though

I'm in as long as the drug doesnt prolong the teenage years. 39 years of teenage drama in my house is a tough thing to think about.

    Dad's just kidding kids. ;)
