The Director of the FBI was appointed by trump - hardly a basis for personal grievance. Also Wray is a Republican and member of the Federalist Society- hotbed of conservatism. I really can’t see the basis for your idea that the FBI is biased against trump.
So be it. Just remember, as always, ya'll soiled the well. Don't get mad at us when you realize the water stinks.
In one of the photos of the stacks of boxes there is what looks very much like a copier against the right wall. Was it used to make copies? Only that great patriotic American, Mr trump knows
The well was soiled when I had to see, hear and read about Clinton's BJ for months. I only drink bottled water.
I really do. But I can understand why you're having such a hard time with all this and trying so hard to make it about something other than what it is. You voted for a terrible person and known swindler, twice. With every passing week, he's proving you more wrong and foolish for placing your faith in him. You're clearly (to me, anyway) an intelligent and deep-thinking person, so I appreciate that it's hard to come to terms with the fact that you've been completely duped, all the while a lot of people you probably don't respect (at least politically) get to beat you over the head with "We told you so!" That's a lot to take in. I hope with time you'll be able to take some solace in the fact that you're not the first smart guy to get conned.
Yeah, both Spiro Agnew and Bill Clinton entered into plea deals. Both had to admit fault. Clinton agreed to a suspension of his bar license and a fine. Part of Agnew's deal was resigning from public office. Maddow was speculating last night about Trump's situation. I can't see Trump ever admitting to doing anything wrong - much less paying any fines or agreeing to drop out of the race. That's probably even less likely given the state investigations against him, which I don't think the Federal system has any control over.
Dear Leader whines all the time and plays the victim perpetually. That is his platform. Just imagine if he wins potus. His incessant whining will literally be the maga-gop priority for the country - ugh.
You don't have to. It's an opinion. The institutional bias in the FBI pre-existed Wray and remains after Wray. Call it whatever you want. Maybe he just didn't clean house when that's what was needed (maybe that wasn't needed, I don't know). Maybe he's one of the guys perpetuating that prejudice. Maybe he just doesn't know of the bias or doesn't know how to fix it. None of those possibilities change anything. Here's what we do know. Now that he's there, even if there was this significant bias in the FBI, he wouldn't admit it because he's shown that he wants to protect the credibility of the FBI. The problem is prioritizing that, while simultaneously handling the Trump classified documents case in the manner in which they did really undermines that priority. Hence, my conclusion that he sucks. His major priority seems to be maintaining this perception of integrity with the FBI, and he sucks at that.
He actually ran the first time to lose, start a Fox alternative with Roger Ailes and have a teed up punching bag in President Hillary when it went on the air. He was stunned on election night when he won partially because he knew his life of crime would at some point come under harder scrutiny.
I know there are evidentiary rules against disclosure of plea offers in a court of law, are there any laws or ethics rules against releasing plea offers to the media?
