Wait, that’s a judge (not just *a* judge, but the presiding judge)? Holy moly. That explains her rulings. Definitely should recuse, but based on the crazy eyes picture i suspect she won’t.

I have no problem prosecuting Trump, but Biden, Clinton, Obama, Bush, Pence, etc need to indicted for intentional spillage as well. All classified docs reside in SCIFs, there is no excuse. Those docs are clearly marked and these people KNOW when classified info is being discussed.

Hyeah, okay. We'll be on the lookout for all your magical crime-free indictments of your political enemies.

Trump moved to disqualify the Judge in the Hilary Clinton defamation case he filed because Bill Clinton appointed the judge (of course the motion was denied). Well, he appointed Judge Cannon directly. What do you think his answer to a recusal motion would be? Bet he would cite his own Clinton case!

I saw that somewhere, and read some of the comments, which said it wasn't her, to take it down. I googled her, and it looks like her to me.

Well, you know what, I have to give you credit for changing your position given new information. I was wrong to say you would not. I'll even go so far as to say I am heartened to see it, because I've seen it happen only a handful of times since Trump came down the escalator.

I don't see us taking long walks on the beach together now, but I commend you on dropping your defenses and considering the details in the indictment.

The gobbledygook that comes out of his mouth is consistently breathtaking in its absurdity and stupidity.

Agreed. But in a fragmented GOP primary he may be able to win without them.

Don’t disagree with this either, and I suspect if the only facts here were having documents he wasn’t supposed to, he probably wouldn’t be charged either.

It’s the facts for the other charges that make this one damning and presumably forced their hand, because if DOJ can prove even half of what’s in the indictment it is beyond question that he was trying to hide the documents from DOJ and his own lawyers, tricking his lawyers into unintentionally lying to DOJ, asking his lawyers to explicitly lie to DOJ, and generally trying to figure out how to avoid ever returning the documents even once the feds came to him and said “you’re not supposed to have these, pretty please give them back.”

Can't figure out if you're a great toll comedian (in which case, outstanding work), or the alternative...

Aside from his lifetime of crime, he has constantly gotten himself into trouble by doing things like this, driven by his arrested-in-2nd-grade inferiority complex and giant black hole in his soul from being unloved his whole life that he desperately wants to fill with the approval of others.

Its going to be very difficult to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. I read the indictment, 31 of the 37 charges you could charge most of the former presidents as well. The biggest charge is the lying and obstruction charges, that is very grey to bring in front of a jury. Unless you have video of the classified doc in his hand discussing this, the defense could spin this many ways.

Either way, Trump and Biden should be barred from running again. The country needs to set an example for Classified docs and scrub former political appointees and operatives of Gov information when they leave the Gov.

Reminds me of the scene in Midnight Run where the Duke yells at Jack and Marvin that they're the dumbest bounty hunters ever.

They very clearly seem to have the text messages between multiple MAL employees discussing, at his direction, moving some boxes of documents out of the room with docs that his lawyers were going to review to respond to the subpoena. That in and of itself proves much of those charges.

Exactly this. I don’t know if they can prove that he sold top secret stuff to the Saudis about the Iranian’s but does anyone think that isn’t why the paid two billion to much net.
