I've yet to see a post from a Trump supporter refuting the charges.

He's been less in the news the last couple years, so their playbook is rusty. As a reminder Trumpistas, it's:

    1. He didn't say/do it.
    2. If he did, he didn't mean it.
    3. If he meant it, it's no big deal anyways because [whataboutism du jour]

There is no need to if they can just whine about selective prosecution. trump's defenses turns many of his supporters into lazy automatons.

Both also engaged in actions that are pretty obviously criminal, whereas nobody can argue that with Pence as far as I’m aware. I mean with Trump you can’t even keep up with all his corruption and the illegal stuff he throws out there. With him “every accusation is an admission” never seems to fail. It’s kind of amusing to see it go full circle to a classified documents case, but you know with this guy the hole will just keep getting dug.

I would have thought Desantis better than that, even with that Martha’s Vineyard stunt flight maybe it was a “one off” and he didn’t know the people on the the ground were using tricks to mislead people. I actually assumed that. But when you go back to the well again, you can no longer feign ignorance and blame it on your pawns. It seems it was always illegal under FL law to do what he did, the legislature changed the FL law to address the funding issue. But he has no power to change CA law or federal law on things like kidnapping and human trafficking.

This is what I’m taking about though. You are cool with him f-ing around with immigrants like that? Or is it just ok because you are assured he isn’t rounding up any Cubans?

IIRC, his argument was that there's zero evidence that DeSantis himself kidnapped and forced immigrants onto the planes, or similar such nonsense.

Some web murmuring that Trump had 11,000 documents, altered the security camera footage, hid docs after telling the Feebs they’d all been turned over and flooded the MAL server room by somehow draining his pool in order to kill the servers.

Let’s see if these things are true, but if so, he’s got a world of problems.

And oh yeah, his two lead lawyers just quit.

If that’s all true, and there is evidence (see, NOT a banana republic), hopefully not even a corrupt judge can slow roll that freight train.

Lets see: Trump just indicted for stealing / lying about Gov't docs.

Under investigation in "how many" cases?

    Georgia election interference

What about Arizona? perhaps there to?

    Taxs
    NY Business Dealings
    Financial Bank Fraud

Good lord only knows how many lawsuits? Hundreds??

    Should be indicted regarding:
His CHARITY - I thought when you steal money from charity it was a crime?
His Real Estate School - $35,000 for "What" exactly? A Big Mac and a three page brochure? LOL LOL LOL
Selling Chinese access to the office of the presidency - Jarid and Ivanka should be going down on that one with him.

    Twice impeached

Attempted to bribe Zelenski with a US defense package to Ukraine to sabotage Joe Bidens election efforts.

and on and on and on ........................

I would be shocked if she presided over the case. Should be very easy to get a new judge, because the appellate decision that overruled her Trump-directed master, basically said she attempted to obstruct the investigation.

So the 2020 election was stolen: because he said so.
He is innocent of all these charges: because he said so.
Barnum was right, a sucker is born every minute.

You noticed that too, huh? A lot of whining about how unfair this is to them (and promises of retribution), not a whole lot of discussion of whether he actually committed the charges crimes.

I understand that it is a difficult time for the GOP but when does the party come to the realization they will lose the public interest by continuing to support Trump and Maga insanity?

Trump exhaustion must be settling in with the bigger players.

PD is right - what the heck is a Republican now?

When the shoe is on the other foot? You mean when a Democratic politician openly flaunts the law, admits it and then claims political persecution when he or she is investigated and indicted?

I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that this is what he's willing to say and do when he knows he's being taped by people who are effectively strangers!

Have to imagine the amount of sensitive information he's shared in private with friends is infinitely worse.

I think he "cut-deals" with Putin, and maybe attempted the same with Rocket Man.

I’m sure the Justice Department will ask her to step aside for obvious reasons.
