Anyone catch the Brett Baier interview? Went 45minutes and OMG. I think he’s going for the insanity defense. Lots of other nuttery as well. Brett wasn’t particularly aggressive (of course) but filleted nonetheless. Also he was sniffing like crazy. He’s high as a kite.

His lawyers may have to put him in restraints. None of that was good for the defense.

I go back and forth on “strategy” vs “legit crazy”. I suppose it’s not mutually exclusive.

Making up excuses to explain away a crime is one thing. But when the guy says he “won by alot in 2020”, at this point I’m not sure how you can argue that is a strategy, the cult loves it but it’s clearly not effective at winning elections going forward. It really does seem like mental illness.

I’ve been hard on Trump for his handling of sensitive government documents, but I think we can all sympathize with this. Anyone who has any kind of respectable collection of golf pants and classified files is clearly going to get them mixed up, and sometimes it takes months to sort them back out. We’ve all been there.
