Publix here does the same thing. A $50 gas gift card for like 40 bucks or something.

Are you trying to tell lies say things that aren't true, or do you just know literally nothing on this subject?

Edit : Also; what are you actually even saying? Are you trying to say "OMG, all that Biden government spending really.......drove up the price of energy!!!!!" ?

Are you really a voter? God bless us all.

Biden's War on Energy? You do realize that the US is producing domestic oil at an all-time historic high? And that the US is now the top-producing oil country in the world?

Please explain "Biden's War on Energy."

Thanks. I'll hang up and listen...

There is just 10 companies that provide the bulk of what we buy. We need to look into price gouging, there is no way with their buying power they are still suffering with pandemic pricing.

Consumers Pay The Price As Biden’s War On Oil And Gas Expands

    June 5, 2022
"Seemingly determined to repeat every energy policy error of the last half century, Joe Biden’s war on the domestic oil and gas industry gained new steam last week even as gasoline and diesel prices rose to new record highs. Despite the reality that a shortage of refining capacity is a cause of high diesel prices, Biden’s EPA carried the administration’s assault on the industry to its downstream sector late in the week. On Friday, EPA announced additional biofuel blending mandates not just for 2022, but also retroactive mandates that will force refiners to make up for 2020 and 2021 volumes that were previously suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The EPA edict will not just raise the cost of refining and distribution of gas and diesel - and thus result in even higher prices at the pump - it will also take millions more tons of corn out of the food supply during a time of growing global food shortages. As such, it is a policy action that prioritizes the making of biofuel that many believe serves no useful environmental or economic purpose over efforts to prevent starvation in developing nations."

Thank you for posting a two and a half year old article with predictions that we can assess. So let's start with "higher prices at the pump."

Average Retail Price of Gas in June 2022: $4.929
Average Retail Price of Gas in December 2024: $3.018

Now, you might correctly point out the seasonality of gasoline prices. So let's do an apples-to-apples comparison (from June 2024):

Average Retail Price of Gas in June 2024: $3.455

So your article predicted higher prices. Reality was a cut in price over 2 years by 30%.

So do you think your article was accurate?

$3.27 is my high (there may be others higher); $3.12 is my low as of today. I will try to get gas at my low, but I won't go out of my way to go there. (HOGTOWN)

What's your point? Prices are slightly better now?
Grateful asked for an explanation about Biden's War on Energy.
Most liberals conveniently forget what started inflation in the first place.
The reason Trump is back in the Oval Office is that the voters didn't forget.

"Slightly" is doing a lot of work there. 30% lower is a pretty big drop in price of a commodity product. My point is that you were asked about this concept, and the best example that you could come up with made predictions that were not just demonstrably wrong, but by a pretty wide margin as well.
