Yet another consequence to election denial, and its great that a Trump voter proved Mike Lindell wrong. Lindell is already whining about the decision and threatening to take the matter to court, even though the contest rules state “disputes would be ‘resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration’ and noted that arbitration ‘is subject to very limited review by courts.’”

    From the article:

"My Pillow founder and prominent election denier Mike Lindell made a bold offer ahead of a “cyber symposium” he held in August 2021 in South Dakota: He claimed he had data showing Chinese interference and said he would pay $5 million to anyone who could prove the material was not from the previous year’s U.S. election.

On Wednesday, a private arbitration panel ruled that someone had.

The panel said Robert Zeidman, a computer forensics expert and 63-year-old Trump voter from Nevada, was entitled to the $5 million payout.

In their 23-page decision, the arbitrators said Zeidman proved that Lindell’s material “unequivocally did not reflect November 2020 election data.” They directed Lindell’s firm to pay Zeidman within 30 days."

A suit would be quite funny. Even pillow guy couldn't be that stupid, right? Regardless, that's a whole lot of pillows.

Hank Locklin and Dean Martin both had hit recordings of "Send Me the Pillow that You Dream On." ("Send me the pillow that you dream on/ So, darling, I can dream on it too.")

In Lindell's case, the song should be "Send me the pillow that you scheme on/ With five million dollars stuffed inside."

Lol ... I remember this. That nut job showed up with encrypted harddrives, that someone gave to him, and said it was proof of election fraud ....just one catch ... He just needed someone to crack the uncrackable encryption so they could see what was on it... It was one of the dumbest moments in the circus of stupidity that was Trump's election fraud claims ...

I would appeal this ruling. There has to be some sort of legal precedence for this...

He could say he was just kidding. :D

"Your honor, that contract I prepared and the plaintiff signed was a joke" might be the greatest legal argument that I have ever heard. No way that doesn't work.

    This is funny:

Lindell continued, “It’s just very strange that you don't take the route that, hey, let’s see if there was evidence, let’s see the evidence, and instead of just playing lawfare and then you don't even ever talk or even have anybody on about things that are going on right now, currently.”

They had gone through discovery. The judge had entered summary judgment against Fox on liability, based on extensive evidence. Plus, it was a defamation case - Fox was in possession of the incriminating evidence! He can't be that stupid (or can he?), but he acts like they settled a different cause of action based on a demand letter with undisclosed evidence.

Yeah, they had Fox on record saying they knew it was BS and chose to air it anyway. But yeah, they should have fought!

I'm sorry that your beliefs keep getting rejected in court and that made you need to deflect to Alec Baldwin for some reason.

I’ve seen some odd deflections around here. But this one is pretty impressive.
