Well scale and quantity matter. If you use the word 'deplorables' one time in public, no, you're probably not like Hitler. And I'm not aware of Hitler making common use of the word 'deplorable', unlike words and phrases like 'vermin', 'poisoning the blood of the country', and 'the enemy within'. And then if you have your surrogates say things like 'America is for Americans and Americans only', yeah, you might be intentionally going for a Hitler thing there.

Yeah I read them. And it's not just Hitler Trump sounds like when he says stuff like 'the enemy within' and 'the enemy of the people'. He sounds like other dictators too -- Stalin, Mussolini, Castro, etc. Trump loves a strong dictator.

Well Hitler is the one he most sounds like when he says stuff like 'poisoning the blood of the country'. That's straight up Hitler talk there. Things like 'enemy of the people' and 'enemy from within' is more generic, used by numerous totalitarian dictators. 'Enemy of the people' was a particular favorite of Stalin and other Soviet dictators. Trump clearly likes to imitate dictators.

 

I am really glad that I don’t suffer from TDS.
