Most predictions I've seen were between 6-6 and 9-3, with the media mostly estimating 6-6. Interestingly enough, most of that range is still possible. I am still sticking with my pre-season prediction of 8-4 though.

Yep. Walked in to quite a bit. Tim Paulk, Godfrey Myles, Carlton Miles, Errict Rhett, Dexter McNabb, Willie McClendon. Walked in to a gold mine.

Galen recruited Emmitt Smith and for that we will be forever grateful.
But his offenses were still not as sophisticated as the Evil Genius with lesser talent.

Donald Douglas was our QB . The talent level was better with the HBC. Galen left him in good shape

To add to the point about Spurrier's first team- I believe our 87 class was #1 in the nation.
Emmitt was part of it, but it was so much more.
But no- Galen was an average coach. Super guy however.

Back to the OP- I predicted 7-5 I think..
Losses to Utah, UT, UGA, TAMU, plus probably one more.
I couldn't believe people were predicting 10-2, etc.
I watched ULL's last game when Napier was there and could see Napier was no Spurrier.

CFN correctly picked us to beat Utah, but lose to GA, TAMU and South Carolina.
Hope we make them wrong about tomorrow too.
