Describe little to no risk? Would you consider hospitalization a major risk? If you do, then the vaccine has significant benefit to all those 12 and older. Unvaccinated 12 - 34 were 5.7% more likely to be hospitalized, 35 - 64 were 7.5% more likely to be hospitalized, and 65 and older 2.7% as compared to those who received at least one booster.

How about death? I think we would all consider that a significant risk. Well, according to these statistics, the risk of dying for 18 - 29 was 3X higher, 30 - 49 5X higher, and 6X higher 50 and older for the unvaccinated.

And the thing about COVID. We knew certain risk factors increased risk, but there were those with no risk factors who still had serious cases. Sure, getting vaccinated didn't stop everyone from getting sick, but it prevented many from dying, and many, many more from being hospitalized. That's good medicine.

Because of this exact thing, I was required to attend a training on using the campus defibrillators my first as a teacher. In 2003.

    People be like …

Uncommonly Honest Doctor: “You know, SARS-Cov2 has never been isolated. It’s literally just a mental construct. But I do have a vaccine which carries a slight risk of injury and death. Still want it ?”

People: “Yes, please. Oh, and would a Ben Franklin persuade you to double up on my dosage ? I promise I won’t tell!”

The American population overall are generally more sick today than they were when the Vaccine Act went through during the Reagan years.

Ask any doctor if Covid is a threat to a young healthy person and the vast majority will tell you no. At the end of the day no one under 65 needed these shots who was healthy. Including those who had not had Covid. But so get you want so bad to keep taking them. You are one of the few who has not gotten there. But you will one day.

No doubt. The truth is Big Pharma know their drugs and vaccines injure people. Once a customer buys, they become a customer for life. Big Pharma pays off the politicians to make it easier for them to control the people with their product. It's no different than the military industrial complex. Politicians tell us we need war, so we'll bless their absurd expenditures on said war, defense contractors get rich, use part of proceeds to buy off politicians. Rinse and repeat.

Yet, nearly 75,000 people 49 and younger died from COVID in the US. The overwhelming majority unvaccinated. Add in 50 - 64, and that's another 200,000 people. How many lives could the vaccine had saved? Not all, but those who died after April 2021, when the vaccine was available to all, then we're talking thousands of people, all under the age of 65.

Now, where's your evidence that the vaccine kills people? And who wouldn't want to lower their risk of hospitalization and death?

No real different than the flu…

But you keep taking an unnecessary shot if you wish. There is maybe 10%ish of you left at this point…

The flu kills 50k a year, and isn't usually top 5 cause of death. COVID was #3 2020 through 2022. It's still #4 now.

Regardless, the flu shot lowers risk of severe complications from the flu. The COVID shot does the same with COVID. So why wouldn't anyone want to lower their risk from either disease?

The flu shot is at least safe and does not cause millions to miss work. That said. I don’t take that either.

But hey…you keep inflicting inflammation on yourself if you wish.

Only about 45% of Americans get a flu shot. Over 80% are vaccinated for COVID. The flu shot does have side effects too. Including fever, nausea, and even some cases of fainting. Flu shots are also more likely to act as boosters, as the person likely has had the flu before. And while everyone is different, boosters tend to have less side effects than initial vaccines. A little different with the bivalent booster, because it's a new variant.

Less shots and people's immune system already familiar with the flu strain means lower incidents of severe side effects. What is the same with the flu and COVID vaccines? Both lower the risk of hospitalization and death. And I ask again. Why is that bad? Who wouldn't want to lower their risks?

I gotta say I am the pinnacle of health not elite of course but 95th percentile through out my life in triathlons biking sailing swimming and windsurfing. I never got the flu never got sick until Covid. The first episode pre Vax laid me low for 10 days. Every symptom known. I shat my pants if I overly exerted myself a week after I walked around. It was bad. After the vax I got it twice (My immune system is depressed by a atopic dermatitis drug I take). My post vax infections were 2 day affairs and more an annoyance than anything else. Thankfully the virus has evolved into an upper respiratory infection but I’m glad I got vaxed and boosted.
