I imagine that people including a number of posters in this thread who wanted to blame Bronny's cardiac arrest on the vax will really be disappointed by the real explanation.

In any event I thought that this would have been the explanation from the very beginning especially since the same thing has happened to other athletes with similar conditions frequently with tragic consequences and has been reported for decades.

Although Hank Gathers passed away 33 years ago and 30 years before the Covid vaccine was developed maybe it triggered a heart attack from his congenital issue? Waiting for your response that one of the vaccines available at the time like the MMR may have triggered his heart attack.

While it's virtually impossible to prove a negative i.e. whether or not the vaccine (assuming that Bronny ever received it in the first place) was a factor in cardiac arrest in a person with a preexisting congenital cardiac condition there is a long history of athletes with congenital cardiac conditions suffering cardiac arrest very often with a fatal outcome. Logically, his congenital condition combined with intense exercise is the most logical explanation of what happened to him not the Covid vaccine.

 

Logically we need to know if the shot. If Covid. If Covid and the shot increases risk for those with CHD. It is a very important question to ask.

 

Yes it does prove it. Because the doctors who did the tests said that the cause was a congenital heart defect. They did not identify myocarditis or inflammation. That’s the way medical diagnosis works.

 

This study from 2016 shows rate of incidence of cardiac events in athletes. The study also shows a higher rate of congenital defects in younger, athletes of African descent.

To date, I haven't seen any evidence the incident rate had risen significantly since this 2016 study. If anyone has any results, please post them. This would help give us an answer to whether or not COVID and/or the vaccine has caused an uptick in incidents.

 

There could have been prior events that were contributing factors in the one that took him out at practice. A majority of heart attacks are silent. They absolutely are contributing events to a massive heart attack later in life that may happen.
