    John Goodman had a good shelter in 10 Cloverfield Lane. Store room, kitchen, comfy living area, juke box, a place to chain up a young woman, and and acid room to dissolve pesky survivors. o_O

    Just finished watching it. Was pretty good but I thought some scenes seemed fake.

    They had trouble training a real kaiju so some cgi was used.

    Also a delightful surprise to wake up to this today. I literally searched for a release like two days ago, no mention of Netflix. It was just on Prime Japan or something then.

    But I believe part of the allure is some spotty EFX. The non-blinking was Animotronicish, but still liked those big set pieces.

    And an actual plot was cool.
