Agree with most of this but I have heard cash did change hands in the days of miller, haslem etc. don’t know whether Billy knew about it but they have both alluded to it. I love Billy but to compete at the level of duke, Kentucky, etc at the time you probaBly had to because they were.

And what ever happened to UCLA since we whipped them? I don’t think we’ll ever have as blood thirsty basketball fan base as UK or UNC but I’m so happy our previous coach went to Georgia and we got Coach Golden.
